Premium washed and natural Arabica from Mount Elgon and Mount Rwenzori. UCDA-certified exporter serving roasters and importers worldwide with traceable, single-origin Arabica lots.
Uganda's Arabica exports surged +117% in volume and +182% in value in October 2025 compared to the same month the prior year, according to the Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA). The country is now Africa's #1 coffee exporter, shipping 8.4 million 60kg bags worth US$2.4 billion in the 12 months to October 2025, overtaking Ethiopia.
Arabica grows on the volcanic slopes of Mount Elgon (1,300-2,600m) and Mount Rwenzori (1,500-2,000m), where Bourbon and SL28 varieties produce distinctive East African cup profiles: bright acidity, full body, and complex fruit and chocolate notes. 85% of Uganda's coffee is cultivated by smallholders farming fewer than 2.5 hectares, and Nonda Coffee sources from a network of over 24,000 of these farmers, paying 23% above the UCDA farmgate price.
This direct-trade premium drives quality upward: better cherry selection, better processing, better cup scores. The result is Arabica that competes with Kenyan and Ethiopian origins on quality while offering more competitive FOB pricing.
