Farmer Registration

Every farmer registered and profiled in the Nonda digital system with farm size, varieties grown, and production history.

Every farm and collection point GPS-tagged. Buyers see exact origin coordinates for every shipment they purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Nonda Kitawuluzi Model?
The Nonda Kitawuluzi Model is Nonda Commodities' farmer mobilization and supply chain system. It organizes coffee farmers into Bubondo Clusters of 10 to 15 farmers, connects them to 183 Kitawuluzi Centres for aggregation and grading, and routes quality-verified coffee through E'byaggi Centres to the Luwero Coffee Value Park for processing and export to over 60 countries. The model currently engages 46,000 farmers across 13 districts.
How does a farmer join the Kitawuluzi network?
Farmers in any of the 13 catchment districts can join by attending a community engagement session, registering their farm for GPS mapping, and being grouped into a Bubondo Cluster. Registration is free. Each cluster receives a lead farmer, a training schedule, and a direct connection to the nearest Kitawuluzi Centre for aggregation and sales at published benchmark-plus-premium prices.
What is the difference between a Kitawuluzi Centre and the Luwero Coffee Value Park?
Kitawuluzi Centres are local aggregation and buying points where farmers deliver their coffee, receive grading against UCDA standards, and get paid immediately. There are 183 centres across 13 districts. The Luwero Coffee Value Park is the 100-acre industrial processing facility in Butalangu Town Council that mills, roasts, packages, and exports finished coffee products. The centres feed the park. The park feeds global markets.
How does Nonda ensure farmers get fair prices?
Nonda publishes prices tied to UCDA daily benchmark rates plus a quality premium. The formula is transparent: farmers know what Screen 18 Robusta pays versus ordinary grade before they deliver. Payment happens at the Kitawuluzi Centre on delivery. No middlemen, no delayed payments, no price guesswork. The model eliminates the layers of intermediaries that historically captured the margin between farmgate and export price.
